Wayne Vincent Person

Wayne Vincent Person , 68,  of Denver, CO went home to the Lord on Friday November 6, 2020. Wayne was born on October 12, 1952 in Memphis, TN. He is the son of Percy Vincent Person and Sarah T Person; brother Walter Person. Wayne is a graduate of Christian Brothers High School and later went on to graduate from The University of Mississippi. For many years Wayne along with his brother Walter and father Vincent ran Person’s Big Star . During this time Wayne employed many people in that neighborhood. Many of the customers traded with them until the store was later sold. Wayne always looked at both employees and customers as family. Later Wayne worked for several companies including Kroger. Wayne is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Stephens (Scott) of Knoxville, TN. Son Charlie Person (Kevin) of Denver, CO. Brother Walter Person ( Melody) of Memphis, TN. Nephews Steve Person (Marianne) and Matthew Person of Memphis, TN. Nieces Angela Hope Miller and Amanda Etheridge of Germantown, TN. He is also survived by many cousins.

Cremation has been chosen by the family and services will be announced at a later date.
