Steven Allen Rehfeld

Steven Allen Rehfeld left us unexpectedly on October 15, 2021. The family is shocked, deeply saddened, and he will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Steve was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Ellwood Rehfeld and Loretta Bossly.  He relocated to Colorado in 1967.  His career began as a meat cutter, and then went on to be a partner with his brother in the restaurant business and a real estate owner until he retired in 2007.  Moving to Leeds, Utah for his retirement gave him the time and opportunity to enjoy traveling and the great outdoors.  

Along the way, Steve met and married the love of his life, Glenda.  They wed on March 3, 1990 and were married for 31 years.

Anyone who knew Steve, realized that he was fiercely loyal, quick-witted, adventurous, and loved being outside whether on a motorcycle, a boat, hiking, or camping.  Above all else, he loved being with those closest to him.   Steve’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Survived by his wife, Glenda, his brother, Eugene, step-daughters, Christina Joseph (John Joseph), and Crystall Petersen (Garth Petersen), grandchildren Jonathan Joseph (Laurenn Joseph), Christopher Joseph (Meghan Joseph), Carter Petersen and Sawyer Petersen, nieces Tatia Graas (Chris Graas) and Tonja Klisnick (Tim Klisnick) and great-nieces Jenna Graas, Ashley Graas, and Hannah Klisnick.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held in the coming months.
