Sheila L. Nelson

Sheila Louise Leinenweber Nelson age 77 is a beautiful and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed peacefully Sunday, May 16th 2021 on the day of the Ascension of Our Lord.  Sheila lived a full and active life of travel, camping, skydiving, skiing, and hiking.  Sheila and her sister Deborah owned and ran Lad and Lassie a preschool and kindergarten that their mother Louise built.  Before retiring Sheila worked for 22 years at Presbyterian Homes in the pastoral office and impacted so many lives of fellow employees and residents.  Sheila’s greatest joy in life was raising her family.  She poured every ounce of her heart into her children.  “All just being together” brought her so much happiness.  Sheila is survived by her sister Deborah Haracz; her son Andrew (Lisa) children Connor, Julia, Mary; her son Michael (Cheryl) children Jordan, Payton; her daughter Sarah (Andrew Freza) children Grace, Abigail; her son Paul (Laura) children Nathaniel, Elliot, Addison.
