Shawn Yatckoske

Shawn Yatckoske was born August 17th, 1974 In Denver, CO. He loved spending time with his son, Adrick and daughter-in law, Justice.  Whether it was golfing, cooking his famous roast beast, watching movies, or listening to his favorite tunes, Shawn wanted his family around. Shawn also loved spending time with Blue, the family dog; they loved to share sandwiches and string cheese. 

Shawn lived many places during his life. Minnesota and Colorado usually being home base.  He eventually settled in Denver where his son is.  Shawn spent much of his career as a truck driver though he tried many things - a stint in the oil field, real estate,  he gave many things a try. Shawn was a dreamer, was willing to try things at least once and when things flopped, he usually landed on his feet. 

Shawn was a great man - tough as nails but not afraid to sit you down and say, “I love you.” Shawn’s open and optimistic outlook on life was contagious; they just don't make men like him anymore. He was the best of the best. His superpower was humor. He could make anyone laugh in any situation. Shawn valued honestly, integrity and most of all humility. 

Shawn passed away October 9th, 2023 at the age of 49.  

Shawn is survived by his son, Adrick, his wife, Justice  and his sister and her spouse, Amber and Cary (Boose) McDonald. He was preceded in death by his father, Allan Yatckoske.
