Robert Michael Durant

Robert Michael Durant, 54 of Lakewood, CO passed away in peace surrounded by his family on January 18th due to cancer he had battled for 8 years. Rob was preceded in death by his Mother Beverly Hazel Durant and is survived by his wife of 28 years Beth Durant and his children Dawson and Danika Durant. Also survived by his Father Cliff Durant, step Mother Joyce, sister Lynnette Fields, brother Rick Durant and step brother Darrell Crocker. Rob was born in Denver and grew up in Arvada. He went onto college in Goodland, KS and started his career in tele-communications. Rob's top priority was his family. He had a passion for golf, skiing, pheasant hunting and woodworking. He thrived being around people. His family and friends meant the world to him. He loved working on his second home in Bird City, KS. That is where he found his peace and quickly established new friends and made new memories while working with friends and family on what he loved. Rob was known for his quick wit and colorful sense of humor. He had a warm and wonderful smile and a beautiful heart. He will be missed and loved forever. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 5th at 12:30pm at the Church Ranch Event Center in Westminster, CO.
