Priscilla Chacon (84) rejoined her husband, Joe Chacon, on August 11, 2020 after 24 long years apart. Priscilla was born in Sopris, CO to a hard working family. She spoke fondly of memories of listening to baseball, LA Dodgers, with her father, eating ice cream (vanilla or strawberry flavors preferred), and attending school. She married her beloved husband on Christmas eve in 1959 and was by his side until his dying day. She worked at Sears as a cashier for most of her working life and loved her friends/coworkers who she would gossip with constantly. In her free time, Priscilla enjoyed spending time with family and watching any sport that was on TV, always rooting for the Colorado home team. Her home was covered in Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and Denver Nuggets gear. She also of course loved her WWE wrestling which she watched religiously 3 days a week. Whenever the weather allowed, she loved taking the bus up to Blackhawk with her sister-in-law, Lourdes Trujillo, and spent the day gambling, gossiping and refusing to come home even after both sets of children would call. Her favorite meal was a McDonald’s double cheeseburger and a coke.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Arguello, and her mother Isabelle Arguello. Priscilla was preceded in death by her six siblings who never made it to adulthood; Jose, Andrew, Manuel, Emma, Dora, and Bobby as well as her adult siblings; Eloy, Danny, Dolores, and Lena.
Priscilla is survived by her sisters Steffie (Joe) Casias and Lucille (Kelly) Torres. She is also survived by her children, Nancy (Victor) Gallardo and Joe (Debeth) Chacon, and her beloved grandchildren; Brittani (Clovis), Erika, Jessica and Joey.
Her family knows she is very happy in heaven with her husband causing trouble, watching sports, eating ice cream and watching over her family with the other angels.
