Myrna Seiler

Myrna L. Seiler (Mullen), of Denver, CO, a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on July 26 th , 2022. Myrna was born February
10 th , 1932, at Presbyterian Hospital in Denver. Her parents, Edward and Esther Mullen,
sister, Norma Dee Schultz, and husband Harold E. Seiler (2007), preceded her in death.
She is survived by her three sons, Ed (Sandra), Ted (Teri) and Hal (Pam), 10
grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Myrna graduated from Denver North High School in 1950 and then attended the
University of Denver for one year, before marrying Harold E. Seiler in 1951. After many
years of raising her boys and taking care of her family in so many ways, she entered the
workforce with a couple of jobs before settling into a 27-year career at Denver Wildlife
Research Center, retiring in 1996.
Myrna attended Wheat Ridge United Church of Christ for many years before moving to
First Unitarian Society Church in Denver. She volunteered with and supported many
organizations, including Historic Denver Walking Tours, Colorado State Capitol Tours,
Metro Caring and Colorado Center for the Blind.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 3 rd , from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at Stork-
Bullock Family Mortuary, 1895 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, 80214. A Memorial
Service will be held on Thursday, August 4 th, at 2:00pm at First Unitarian Society Church,
1400 Lafayette Street, Denver, followed by a reception. A private family burial will be
held at Crown Hill Cemetery.
