Kelly Janette Fox

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kelly Janette (Upchurch) Fox of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 57.

She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on June 25, 1963, the daughter of Elmo Wagner and Bonnie Rose (Lewis) Upchurch.

Kelly graduated from Englewood High School in 1981, she was passionate about art, attended various courses at Arapahoe Community College, and worked 23 years for the Highlands Ranch Metropolitan District/Centennial Water and Sanitation District as a Senior Financial Analyst. She also worked at McDonald’s in Westminster, Colorado and was a friend to the customers and her coworkers. Kelly’s favorite restaurant was The South for their famous Quesorito. She enjoyed baking, cooking, going to concerts, watching movies, reading, and making trips to the library.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents Elmo W. and Bonnie R. Upchurch. She leaves behind her son Dustin Fox. As well as a stepdaughter and stepson, Amber Fox, and Ryan Fox. Kelly is also survived by her siblings Alan M. Upchurch (Barbara), Kathie M. Upchurch, John J. B. Upchurch (Charlene), Mark L. Upchurch (Chantel), a grandson, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

A private family service will be held at the Stork-Bullock Family Mortuary (1895 Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80226) and her burial will be at the Littleton City Cemetery (6155 South Prince Street, Littleton, Colorado 80120).
