Joseph J. Marquez

Joseph “Joe” J. Marquez, 59, of Brighton, Colorado passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Joe was born on September 2, 1962, to mother, Mary “Betty” Marquez, in Denver, Colorado. Joe was a Thornton High School graduate, Class of 1980.

In 1986, Joe met spouse, Debbie S. Knight at an event he was catering. Joe and Debbie went on to have two children together, Serena and Amber.

Most of Joe’s life was spent doing what he loved, cooking, BUT he sure hated making omelets! He also loved fishing and listening to a variety of music genres. He was a collector of many things, some valuable, some not so much. If you needed something there was a good chance, he probably had it.

Joe was predeceased by his wife Debbie. He is survived by his mother “Betty”, Father Ruben, daughters Serena (Harold) and Amber (Steven), grandkids Jr, Aaliyah, Ryeker, his brothers Pat, J.R., Nathan and sister Michelle.

Services will be held at Orchard.Church in Brighton, Colorado on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM. There will be a reception to follow. Flowers can be sent to Orchard.Church in Brighton for memorial service, addressed to the Marquez Family.
