George Cobb

George A Cobb, 95, of Firestone, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, twelve days before his 96th birthday. He was born on September 25, 1927, in Randlett, Oklahoma.

He was a Navy veteran and served during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946.

He was united in marriage to Helen Archer on July 14, 1947, in Reno, Nevada. They had 76 wonderful years together.

George worked at Aerojet for 34 years as an aerospace Technician working with the Titan Engine Program. In 1990, George retired and moved to Arizona, where he and Helen lived for 25 years. They moved to Colorado in 2013 to spend their golden years closer to family.

George loved camping, fishing, golf and traveling. George and Helen enjoyed square dancing and traveled all over the country to dance.

George had a deep love for God and his family and was baptized at Grace Community Church in Centennial, Colorado.

He is survived by his wife Helen Cobb, son Ron, daughters Valerie and Karen, daughter-in-law Debbie, and son-in-laws, Mike, and Ollie. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 19 Great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
