Florence M. Dunn

Florence M Dunn, 87, of Conifer, Colorado went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton Dunn and survived by her children, Paula (Steve) Middleton, Greg (Pam)Dunn, and Stephanie (Lynn) Nelson. Grandmother to eight grandchildren, Jason (Mischa) Nelson, Jenn Dunn, Kyle (Skadi) Middleton, Christopher Nelson, Michael (Victoria) Dunn, Brandon (Sarah) Middleton, Amanda Middleton and Cara (Matt)Baumgardner. Great grandmother to Maggie, Mikah Nelson, Keeley, Connor, Logan Middleton, Reagan, Michael Jr., Teddy Dunn, Adalyn, Levi, Claire Baumgardner, and one on the way.

Florence was born June 26, 1933 to Fred and Cecil Schnell of Lakewood Colorado. As a native of Colorado, she graduated from Bear Creek High School. After graduation, she spent many years as a secretary for a trucking company in Denver. Florence married Burton Dunn on January 22, 1954. Children soon followed. She was also a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Englewood, teaching Sunday School and was the church pianist for many years. She cleaned houses in the Conifer area for over 25 years and became an accomplished seamstress working from home for clients both from the church and her community.
