Denver — Denver resident Eliseo "Alex" Tienda, 78, passed away October 19, 2020 at Denver Health Medical Center.
Eliseo “Alex” Tienda went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19th of 2020, at Denver Health Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Alex was born in Pueblo, Colorado to Rev. Bonifacio & Cleofitas Tienda. He graduated from South High in Pueblo and later attended CLADIC Seminary in Los Angeles, CA for two years. He worked at C.F &I in Pueblo among other jobs. Years later he moved to Denver and lived out the rest of his life there. He attended Templo Sion church of CLADIC and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. He was also an avid Denver Broncos fan and loved his bird!
He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by a son, two daughters and grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers, Manuel, Elias and Rev. Josue Tienda and sister Jovita Chavez along with several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at Stork Mortuary on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 12:30pm. Viewing will take place an hour prior. Interment will follow at 2pm at Crown Hill Cemetery. Due to covid restrictions we are only allowing 20 people in chapel.
