Eleanor Maureen Jaeke AKA EJ

Eleanor M Jaeke, 88, of Lakewood, CO. entered into blessed eternity to be present with the Lord Jesus Christ on April 11, 2022.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vincent Jaeke. Her beloved adult children; Stephen Ferrel & wife Lori, Donald Ferrel & wife Alice Sue, Robin Ferrel, Linda Fassler & husband Tim, as well as 10 glorious grandchildren and 13 super great grandchildren and lastly numerous wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by beloved son, William Ferrel and grandson Logan Ferrel.
Eleanor was born in Massachusetts on Aug. 4, 1933. The daughter of John Stapleton and Priscilla Gidney.
Eleanor served faithfully with the City and County of Denver in the Denver Police radio room. She then moved on to serve as a meter maid. (She just may have chalked your tires or had your car booted. LOL). She finally served for nearly 20 years as a criminal investigator for the Denver District Attorney office. A position she really loved and enjoyed. She was a courageous investigator in the face of many dangers and threats.
We will miss her much.
Viewing for family and friends is scheduled from 5pm thru 7 pm on Tue April 19, 2022 at Stork & Bullock Mortuary. 1895 Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO.

Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10am on Wed April 20, 2022 at St. Bernadette Catholic Parish. 7240 W. 12th Ave Lakewood, CO 80214. (No reception scheduled)
Cremation has been chosen by the family.
Internment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery
