Obituary
Edward Ybarra JR, age 69, born in Denver, CO October 3rd, 1953. Edward passed away
peacefully on July 1st, 2023, at his home in Denver, CO. Preceded in death by his parents,
Edward Ybarra Sr and Rosalie (Franco) Ybarra.
He is survived by his loving son Edward Ybarra III; grandsons Edward Ybarra IV,
Lalo Ybarra, Santino Sierra; granddaughters Merina Sedillo, June Ybarra, Nila Ybarra,
Andramena Ybarra, Segi Sukhbat and Jordan Mascarenas; sisters Marilyn Walker, Viola Sanchez, Tessie Robles,
Flora Duran, Rosie Lori; brothers Carl Ybarra and Richard Ybarra. Also, numerous cousins,
nieces and nephews and 3 great grandchildren.
Edward graduated from West High School in 1971. He was a loving and attentive
father and grandfather, always putting his family first. He loved fishing and camping with his
family and driving his big trucks up to the casino. He loved being a grandfather and every
moment he could spend with his grandson and grandchildren brought joy to his life.
He was a large presence and will be missed everyday.
