Charles Alva Ross Benton

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charles Alva Ross Benton.  

Charlie passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on March 14th, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family, and he was 63 years old.  

Charlie was born in St Louis, MO on May 10th, 1959, he moved to Colorado when he was very young., where he has spent the rest of his life.  

He is survived by his partner, Terry, Son- Charles James (CJ), Parents- Neva and Doug, Brothers- Rick & Wife Dawn, Steve, David & Wife Kim, & Joseph, Sisters- Crystal & Husband Jair & Gail. Grandchildren- Chaziah and Nevaeh, also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, extended family and friends who all loved him very much. 

He worked as a health care provider.  

Charlie was incredibly Intelligent and had an insatiable thirst for learning. He had  a  great sense of humor and sharp wit, loved to make people laugh. He was a genuinely kind-hearted person whose passing left an unfillable void in the hearts of his loved ones. He may be gone, but he will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched, for nothing loved is ever lost- and he was loved so very much.
