Arthur Phillip Duran “Tooty”
Arthur was born in Antonito Co on September 12, 1945. He passed away in Lakewood, Colorado surrounded by loved ones on October 18, 2021 at the age of 76 years old.
Arthur was born to Francis Wright & Charles Duran.
Arthur meet his wife Peggy as a teenager at a church dance in junior high school, they fell in love and married 5 years after high school. They were married on June 25th, 1965 for 57 years. Together they raised two amazing kids Janelle & Arthur. The kids enjoyed their father’s passion for life. He provided love and support and a lifetime of good humor. He was known for his great sense of humor and his jokes.
Our dad was a hard worker his entire life. He worked for Cromars, Gates Rubber Company, Domenico Transportation, King Soopers, Imperial Concrete, Fiori & Sons and Ace Express. He always supported his family.
His passing was preceded by both his parents, his 3 sister’s Casilda Castaneda, Marie Torres, and his baby sister Charlette Duran.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Duran, a sister, a brother, his daughter Janelle Pacheco and husband Eddie Pacheco, Arthur P. Duran Jr & his wife Sherry Duran. He leaves 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, whom will all miss him dearly.
Arthur Duran lives on in our hearts and minds of his loving family and dear friends.
