André D. Wisdom

Our beloved brother, uncle and friend unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2020.  André was born in Denver, Colorado on August 19, 1965.  He spent his childhood in Evergreen and Golden, Colorado with the past 25 years being spent in Arvada, Colorado.  André was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Maria Wisdom.  He is survived by his sister Niki (Todd Shaklee), brothers Terry (Mellisa) and Trevor, nephews Tyler, Brandon and Justin and nieces Michaela and Endora, along with numerous cousins and close friends. 

André graduated from Golden High School in 1983 and from Colorado Aeronautical Technical Institute in 1991 as a licensed Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.  He attended Red Rocks Community College where he trained as an electrician.  André worked as a Journeyman Commercial Electrician for Piper Electric Company for the past 25 years.  André loved and was proud of his work and the people he worked with.

André enjoyed the outdoors, spending his spare time camping, hunting and fishing.  He was quite fond of golf and riding his beautiful Harley Davidson.  Most of all, André loved his family and dear friends – most of whom he’s known since Junior High and High School, and we all loved him in return.  André was always a loyal and trusted confidant and was there with a helping hand whenever it was needed.  His wide grin and wicked sense of humor was always present, and you could count on a silly laugh when someone got the best of him. 

There are no words to convey how big the hole is in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that we will see him again.  Rest in Peace, dear André.
